The Arbitration Center of the Autonomous University of Lisbon signed a partnership protocol with the Parish of Algueirão-Mem Martins, with a view to providing the out-of-court dispute resolution service.
From now on, the inhabitants of the most populous Parish in the country, with around 69,000 inhabitants, will have access to conflict resolution, in a quicker, cheaper way and with a very high degree of satisfaction.
Agreements on conflicts, obtained by conciliation or mediation, have the same value as a judgment of the court of first instance.
The Customers of Algueirão-Mem Martins now have a real alternative to the courts, in family, neighbourhood, consumer disputes, in a work context, in the context of the provision of health services, in the context of Sport, among others.
The Arbitration Center of the Autonomous University of Lisbon continues to promote a better quality of life for citizens, promoting greater well-being and, in this way, contributing to the much desired social peace.
