The PRR – Portugal's Recovery and Resilience Plan opened applications, in August of this year, to the 'Vale Eficiência', a financing program aimed at creating thermal comfort conditions in the homes of economically vulnerable families.
Until December 31, 2021, families who are economically vulnerable and in situations of potential energy poverty, who do not reside in social housing and who reside in mainland Portugal, can apply for a voucher worth €1,300 (one thousand three hundred euros) plus a VAT, which can be used in interventions inside or around the house, with the aim of mitigating situations of energy poverty.
