The Executive Director of CAUAL, Carlos Carvalho Cardoso, moderated a debate in which the President of the National Federation for Conflict Mediation, Maria João Castelo-Branco, the Attorney of the Republic, Helena Gonçalves, the member of the CPCJ Technical Committee, Joana Garcia Fonseca eocthe coordinator of the Escola Segura project, Chief Vitor Gonçalves.
Pedopsychiatrist Ana Vasconcelos, Family and Minors Judges, Joaquim Silva and Ana Chinita Rodrigues, Lawyer Sandra Inês Feitor, Judge Counselor, Armando Leandro, Dulce Rocha from the Instituto de Apoio à Criança, among other renowned technicians to family issues.
Family mediation as an alternative means of resolving conflicts was much discussed during the Seminar, an activity widely practiced by this arbitration center.
