On January 2, the Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority (ASF) launched Public Consultation No. 1/2025, which aims to collect contributions for the draft recommendations on the distinction between health insurance and health plans.
This initiative is part of a set of regulatory measures that the ASF has been implementing to strengthen supervision in the Health sector. The main objective is to promote a clear differentiation between health insurance and health plans, to ensure that consumers can make more informed choices aligned with their profile and needs.
Interested parties may submit their comments in writing, using the comments table available on the ASF website. Contributions must be submitted by January 23, 2025, to the following email address: consultaspublicas@asf.com.pt.
