The Cooperation Protocol was signed on March 7th between the Arbitration Center of the Autonomous University of Lisbon (CAUAL) and the Benfica Parish Council.
With the signing of this protocol, the Parish of Benfica is the first in the country to join the Arbitration Center, in the full range of its services, offering citizens true proximity justice who now have an alternative to judicial courts.
The use of extrajudicial means of resolving conflicts allows families, companies and, in general, all citizens, to resolve their conflicts quickly, with greater proximity, less costly and with a greater degree of satisfaction .
Present at the signing of the agreement were the Board of Directors of the CEU Group (entity that created CAUAL), the President, Dr. António de Lencastre Bernardo, the Vice-President, Doctor Reginaldo Rodrigues de Almeida, the Member, Engineer Samuel de Almeida e Silva, the Executive Director of the Arbitration Center, Dr. Carlos Carvalho Cardoso, the member of the Social Action Department of the Benfica Parish Council, Dr. Carla Rothes and the President of the Parish Council, Dr. Ricardo Marques.
