The Arbitration Center of the Autonomous University of Lisbon (CAUAL) yesterday signed a protocol with the Alvalade Parish Council.
From now on, all citizens of Alvalade will have more and better access to justice, through the so-called alternative means of conflict resolution: mediation, conciliation and arbitration.
Families, companies and, in general, all citizens, can submit their disputes to CAUAL, as an alternative to the judicial courts.
They will thus have a faster response, at a lower cost and with a much higher degree of satisfaction.
CAUAL is ready to welcome consumer, neighbourhood, family, labor conflicts, among others, thus realizing a project that aims to provide everyone with a true justice of proximity.
CAUAL thanks the Alvalade Parish Council and in particular its President, Dr. José António Borges, all the reception given to the project and welcomes the avant-garde vision shown.
With the completion of this project, the Parishioners of Alvalade will have more and better quality of life.
This partnership between the Parish of Alvalade and the Arbitration Center of the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa contributes to a better functioning of justice and has as its ultimate goal the much-desired social peace.
