The Arbitration Center of the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa was in the Parish of Alvalade in a session dedicated to Seniors.
They were provided with the information that they have at their disposal, extrajudicial means of conflict resolution, as an alternative to the courts.
In a room full of very interested people, a debate on the topic was generated, which proved to be very fruitful.
These older citizens learned that they now have a real public service of justice.
Family, neighborhood, consumer disputes, among others, can now be resolved by our Arbitration Center, as an alternative to judicial courts.
A word of appreciation to the Alvalade Parish Council and, in particular, to its President, José António Borges, who decided to offer this service to residents of Alvalade, thus contributing to improving the quality of life of citizens, providing them with more well-being, promoting social peace.
